Centenary Celebration

The Benares Engineering College (BENCO) was established in the year 1919, and hence IIT (BHU) is going to hold the Centenary Celebration on Basant Panchami Day in 2019. IIT (BHU) launched the Centenary Logo, Backdrop (for functions, academic meet etc) along with Centenary Initiatives of the department/schools etc on February 22nd, 2018, in Swatantrata Bhawan during the Golden Jubilee Alumni Reunion of BENCO Graduates of 1968. The institute will observe the Centenary Celebrations here from up to the Closing Function of Centenary on Basant Panchami Day in 2020.

A Steering Committee with Director, IIT (BHU) as its Chairperson has been formed.

An Organizing committee for Centenary Celebration has also been formed.
